*Technician- Blood BankImplement a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good practice Maintaining good staff moral.Performing all works related to all sections of blood banking including apheresis.Daily maintenance, recording and validation of instrument.Proper documentation and reporting.Run routine investigations including special investigationsVerification and validation of results under the supervision of Technical Manager or Medical officer and authorized signatory.Suggest any changes if required in the blood bank system including technical and quality system to Technical Manager.Always help technicians in blood bank technical and clerical works.Responsible for update of blood bank documentationHelp blood bank incharge / medical officer / blood bank supervisor for smooth day to day running of the blood bankPerform Routine laboratory work and donor bleeding.Learning techniques from the seniors.Follow the protocol while discharging functions.Assist the senior technicians as and when required.Handle major equipment carefully.Compatibility testing of blood & blood components before supply.Ensure quick despatch of reports.Ensure personal hygiene self grooming and maintain department clean and tidy.Maintaining and updating blood bank register and files Preparation of pooled cell for reverse grouping and any other jobs assigned by the superiors as per exigencies of work.,
