Job Description

    Overall Job DescriptionAt Mypay Inc, we are passionate about delivering world-class customer experiences utilizing cutting-edge technologies through sound agile development practices.As we continue to evolve our platform capabilities, the ideal Backend Lead would have a strong passion for delivering innovative & sustainable solutions to our products with a business-driven approach to architecture and a strong emphasis on quality, including build and test automation.The Backend Lead should excel in a collaborative, results-driven culture and be able to influence engineers, stakeholders, and leadership on mobile strategies & technologies.Major Responsibilities :- Incumbent will be architecting our Gateway products and choosing the best technologies, components and subsystems on different server-side tech.- Driving innovations in the product constantly to remain ahead of the curve.- Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.- Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.- Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and build products spanning across multiple teams to deliver end-to-end products & features.- Estimates efforts, identifies risks, devises and meets project schedules.- Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.Required Qualifications :- 5+ years of strong software design/development experience in building massively large-scale distributed internet systems and products.- Should have experience leading small teams and MUST have prior experience on payments- Node.JS - 2-4 years of hands-on experience.- Javascript (ES2015 preferable) - Minimum 2-year experience- Framework( Express/ Serverless) - 2 years of hands-on experience.- Aws - Lambda, api gateway, SQS, SNS, etc.- Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoys challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast-growing and start-up workplace.- Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in a fluid environment.,
