You ll be part of the Signify R&D Bangalore and its responsibilities are architecture, design, development and test automation, so Innovation and passion for technology must be in your DNA.What you ll doDepartment consists of several Agile software development project teams. Our project teams are characterized by a strong drive to improve continuously. We are empowered to work autonomously, though there is high emphasis for cross team learning and support.

  • You will be an hands-on Mobile Application developer in the Cloud Applications group.
  • You will align with system architect on time, costs and quality constraints and participate in projects or lead projects, realizing the agreed deliverable.
  • You will investigate possibilities of reusing existing knowledge within domain, recognize trends and the needs for new developments in the discipline. You will also cooperate with other experts in the domain.
  • You will continuously develop technical capability, initiate and give direction to future oriented studies and competence development.
  • You will be highly active in the cloud community inside Signify and raise the department s competence in this important domain by signaling relevant opportunities and giving direction to competence development projects
  • You will also contribute in the acquisition of new assignments e.g. by initiating project proposals!
What you ll need
  • Bachelor/master s degree in computer science engineering, Information Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in product development as Mobile App Developer using iOS & Android
  • Strong CS fundamentals, especially in OOP
  • Excellent knowledge of Cocoa Touch framework, based on Swift or Objective-C
  • Good knowledge of Java & Kotlin or published apps written in Kotlin would be considered as an advantage
  • Experience or familiarity with some of these terms: Android Studio, Git, RxJava, Dagger 2, Retrofit
  • Literacy in reactive programming (RxSwift, ReactiveCocoa)
  • Experience in working on Hybrid application using Flutter, Xamarin, Ionic
  • Experience with using some of these software architectures: MVVM, VIPER, MVC
  • Knowledge of networking, debugging, databases, CI/CD and testing
  • A drive to make your code better every day
  • active contributions to open source projects and organizations is advantage
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English)
  • A team player, eager to invest in personal and team growth
  • Able to coach others
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills. A problem solving and pragmatic attitude
