We are looking for a motivated Lead GPU Power Engineer to continue improving the energy efficiency of our Xe GPUs. As a member of Power Micro-architecture team, you will be prototyping low-power solutions for various design blocks, such as computer arithmetic and data transfer protocols. You will be collaborating with 3D and compute workload analysts, architects, RTL and physical design teams, and software teams to analyze and implement low-power solutions for next generation Intel GPU products. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers. You will be responsible of the following Conduct GPU hardware power consumption studies across 3D, Compute, HPC, and AI workloads, and develop power features to optimize performance per watt. Analyze existing RTL for power opportunities, develop power features, and drives their implementations. Collaborate with teams, such as architects, hardware designers, software, and drivers in evaluating and improving power efficiency of their implementations. Lead a team responsible for the innovation, design and development of energy efficient hardware for 3D, Compute, AI applications. Qualifications: Minimum skills and experience: Must have a Bachelors with in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience. Or a Masters in the same fields with 4+ years of experience. Your experience must be in the following: Low-power logic design techniques and micro-architecture RTL development using Verilog or SystemVerilog and micro-architectural definition for design blocks of CPU/GPU. Power simulations of various design blocks using PTPX/PowerArtist/Power Pro or equivalent. Scripting skills using Python for data analysis.
