Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity toBe the technical heart of the Center of Excellence for Test Automation, strengthen Test Automation growth to operational excellence, create a Technical Foundation for all (system level) test automationYou are Responsible for:

  • Design and implementation of the Test Automation roadmap, including new tools and tests
  • Keeping knowledge up to date and translate new trends like Model Based Testing, AI towards our high tech environment
  • Defining and realizing the needed IT infrastructure for Test Automation
  • Technical lead of the Test Automation team

But we are not stopping there, we are continuing innovating on it to deliver more and more tools to our customers that will be used to make the world a healthier place.You are a part ofYou are a part of the department System Test Automation within the System Development Cluster (SDC) of the Business Unit (BU) IGT Systems within Philips. This BU is responsible for marketing, development and manufacturing of X-ray systems in the area of minimally invasive interventions.Within SDC, you will be the technical lead of the System Test Automation team.The team is responsible for the definition, setup, implementation and maintenance of the Automatic Test Frameworks and Scripts.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Master degree in Software Engineering
  • 15+ years of proved experience in Test Automation in a complex high tech environment
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in Test Automation
  • Experience with GIT/Artifactory/ADS/C#/Specflow
  • Experience with server based applications
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining a test automation infrastructure
  • Strong quality drive
  • Ability to create documentation deliverables (unit and validation documentation)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in leading people
  • Working in global team, with different cultures
  • Capable in driving change and in introducing new technologies, new products and new ways of working
  • You are good communicator and a good listener, capable of interacting at all levels in the organization
  • You have an improvement attitude and you lead through example
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
