Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Engineer who will join the Digital engineering organization and play a key role in developing Waygate s digital inspection solutions and products. We play in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Digital workflows, and other relevant digital areas, in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry.

Digital Inspection Solutions engineering organization develops state of the art IOT solutions serving the NDT industry. This position is open in the core engineering team that is predominantly based in Bangalore. This team drives development of the core technologies fueling the growth of the Waygate digital business. Job location- Bengaluru

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and development of Back-end for digital applications and solutions.
  • Working with Product management and the architect to design the application
  • Taking on full stack development responsibility to help lead team goals, when required.
  • Looking for continuous improvement in the applications via refactoring, retooling, re-designing, etc.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a graduate in Computer Science or STEM with 8 plus yrs of professional experience.
  • Have solid experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud-language and framework
  • Have solid experience on Microservices, Cloud design patterns,Async development,REST API design,Database design,ORM,JDBC Template,Messaging Security.
  • Have solid experience on Databases such as PostgreSQL (primary), and MongoDB.
  • Have hands on experience in development tools including, Maven, Junit, Profiler. etc.
