Job Description

    *As Legal Counsel you will manage and deliver legal advice and documentation to either a Business Unit Region or support function.At SITA, we are meeting the new needs of travel .today Are you ready to join us What you will do Legal support to MEA region in relation to all business activities in that region under supervision of regional manager. Legal support to a solution line or support function. Legal support on transactions within MEA region. Legal support on major or complex transaction depending on subject matter expertise and language under supervision of more senior lawyer. Advise and influence management with requisite communication and inter-personal skills. Contribute to long-term projects addressing areas of legal risk and/or compliance under supervision of more senior lawyer. Prepare and deliver legal training to regional Business Units and Support functions. Advise on material contracting matters. Support dispute resolution in terms of business issues potential or actual claims or litigation. , *Who you are At least 5 years post professional qualification with relevant professional experience (preferably with exposure to IT/Telecoms industry) either as in-house lawyer or in private practice. Experience in core legal commercial domains. Experience in advising on commercial projects/deals. Good drafting skills for contracts. Good communication and inter-personal skills. Proficiency in English and French; Arabic or Portuguese is a plus. Broad knowledge of all areas of commercial and corporate law. Basic understanding of business and business finance. Awareness of legal and industry trends and best practices. Negotiation experience.
