Job Description

The LMS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Learning Management System (LMS) including the publishing of all learning content on the system, contributing to ongoing system improvements, coordinating resolution of system issues, generating reports, and assisting learners with troubleshooting.Your Key responsibilities will include:Providing Technical Support:

  • Help users get the most from the tool. For example, instruct online learners on how to access vital learning material when they lack the necessary tech skills.
  • Be the go-to troubleshooter for User Interface issues, navigability challenges, buffering issues, and any other obstacles related to the system.
  • Receive, triage, investigate, and resolve LMS-related issues from business users and stakeholders, either independently or escalating to the relevant parties (IT Team/ Vendor).
  • Provide support to the in-house tech team. If there s a glitch, they should be able to delegate troubleshooting tasks to the right IT experts and give them all the resources they require.
  • Coordinate with partner institutions & the IT team to ensure internal tools and the Zeta/Nova LMS are properly integrated, whenever needed.
Maintain accurate records:
  • Study all the LMS metrics and analyze to gauge effectiveness.
  • Periodically publish dashboards with creative infographics to internal and external stakeholders on: Progress, completion rates, course status, scores.etc for all L&D initiatives.
Manage Vendor relationships:
  • Manage the contract and vendor relationships with Zeta LMS provider(s) & other training partner organizations.
  • Be the SPOC between the company, IT team, and the Vendor for all queries and issues.
  • Work with vendor and partner personnel to set up or make changes to LMS-related software integration, maintenance and implement quarterly updates/upgrades to the tool.
Provide Insider LMS knowledge:
  • Understand the platform and its features and constantly work with the vendor to incrementally upgrade the tool for a better e-learning experience.
  • Upload, manage, organize, & test the training content created in-house.
  • Complete day-to-day LMS administration including the creation of/updates to LMS account structure, courses, users, and enrollments.
  • Work with the development team to make improvements to the LMS, catalogue templates & styles.
  • Edit and copy course content maintaining a consistent style, look and feel.
  • Be able to and develop eLearning courses, virtual simulations, assessments and evaluations in LMS.
  • Lead the implementation stage for any new content partner such as MOOCs, LXPs, Video tools etc.
  • Be the single point contact for both internal and external teams working on the project.
  • Be able to conduct walkthroughs and demos that showcase how to leverage the tool to its full potential.
Course Management:
  • Creates and manages the overall course structure and sets up course programs to learners based on role specifications.
  • Publish the online or blended learning solutions, create learning journeys, add or delete resources when appropriate.
  • Manage the content and programs library.
  • Distribute course information and assign learners.
  • Managing and tracking of course catalogue and learning programs.
Who should apply for this role
  • You have 1-2 years of experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Familiar and proficient with Google Suite - spreadsheets, docs, slides.etc
  • Experience with data entry, enterprise resource planning, social media management, project management, and tech troubleshooting
  • Ability to self-manage multiple development projects in meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
  • Organized with a keen sense of attention to detail
  • Good initiative and follow-through skills
