Job Description

Dear Candidate,We are seeking full and part-time Loan Due Diligence Reviewers to join our team of Residential Mortgage TRID Compliance / Post-Close Due Diligence Analysts. This is an ongoing contract position to work from either our Tampa facility or work remotely.This position is ideal for loan processors, Closing admins, QC/QA personnel who are familiar with TRID disclosure rules. Under limited supervision from Client Services Manager, this position is responsible for re-underwriting and auditing post-closed loans in accordance with the companys due diligence policies and procedures, secondary mortgage market and/or investor requirements, and applicable laws. This position requires strong knowledge of mortgage market underwriting, agency and conforming guidelines requirements, experience with guideline overlays. Also requires a working knowledge of all consumer lending regulations for GSE and non-conforming, TRID QM/ATR and Non-QM rules and regulations.We are seeking applicants who have 2+ years of experience and ability to do the following:Job Description -

  • Review submitted loan file data and documents for adherence to investor and lender policies or review scope.
  • Proficiency in TRID regulatory compliance a MUST, including ability to review and data capture of initial and revised disclosures for timing and tolerance variances.
  • Analyze loan files for each file to ensure accuracy of all calculations and related loan documents.
  • Analyzing credit documents, including, but not limited to, mortgage applications, credit history and income documents, title documents, appraisals and all applicable compliance documents.
  • Review, credit, and property evaluations to ensure borrower met qualification guidelines.
  • Analyze copies of loan documentation, personal and business financial statements, and any other financial information as needed to support loan decisions.
  • Evaluate debt ratio, loan-to-value ratios, credit score, property valuation, and various other factors.
  • Review sufficiency of borrower and loan documentation and note or comment on inadequate or missing documentation.
  • Review the TIL, HUD, CD/LE and other legal disclosure documents for sufficiency and accuracy.
  • Able to identify misrepresentation, inconsistencies, and/or fraudulent activity from analyzing the loan documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of applicant/borrower information and data at all times.
  • Verify data and report findings in our proprietary Diligence systems to make diligence reviews as streamlined as possible.
  • Perform other duties and account abilities as management may from time-to-time assign.
