Job ID: JR0184149Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireLogic design engineerJob DescriptionThe Intel Ethernet Product group develops high-speed cutting-edge ASICs for world leading Cloud Service Providers, utilizing configurable hardware design, fast speed IOs and industry leading processors.With its processing power and support of packet processing protocols, Crypto, Compression, Storage and remote data access management, our products are a core ingredient in Intel Data Center solution as Intels IPU.Our customers are leading Cloud Service Providers, Comms industry manufacturers and Server OEMs with working models range from co-development to joint definition processes as we oversee our ASIC development from the definition stage, through execution to production.

  • Prior experience and expertise in micro-architecture and RTL logic design of SOC features is required.
  • Understanding of RTL implementation trade-offs for optimal power performance and area goals.
  • Guide logic integration and validation and ensure the feature meets the spec intent.
  • Hands-on experience in either one or more of full chip design topics that includes.
  • Performs Logic design for integration of analog, mixed signal IP, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
  • Familiarity with ASIC project development stages, physical design, emulation, validation process.
  • Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development. Interact with micro/system architects for architecture, feature exploration and implementation trade-offs.
  • Previous experience with PLLs, GPIOs, XO, Serdes, Fuse integration Familiar with clocking and synopsys design constraints etc.
  • Experience with SpyGlass Lint, CDC, RDC or similar. Understanding of power, cell libraries and high level concepts of RTL to GDS flow.
  • Understanding and integration of the Security IPs and full chip security flow.
  • Understanding and handling of multiple peripheral interface IPs like I2C, UART, NCSI and SPI
  • Understanding and hands-on experience on latest generation PCIe standards up to Gen5 and RTL ownership of the 3rd party IP.
  • CoreSight or similar debug architectures, ARM, Xtensa, MIPS, ARC, RISC-V architectures, interconnects like Sonics, Arteris etc. is an advantage.
QualificationsQualification:
  • BTech/MTech in Electronics Engineering.
  • 7+ years of Logic design experience in ASIC development.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Having gone through two or more of tape-outs on a leading edge foundry is advantage.
  • Networking experience (Ethernet, PCIe, TCP/IP) is an added advantage.
