Roles and ResponsibilitiesDear Professional,Greetings! Role - Lead Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Job Purpose: The group primarily focuses on creating, validating and implementing IHC based assays in the early clinical translational research space to generate critical data that support mechanism of action hypotheses,pharmacodynamic evaluations, and identification of novel biomarkers related to clinical response. The team is also responsible for delivering on all outsourced clinical samples needing IHC endpoints including vendor management and quality oversight Key Responsibilities: Members of the team are also deeply engaged in new technology identification and evaluations, including multiplexed IHC, digital image analysis, deep learning and other emerging technologies critical to the continued scientific leadership of BMS. The group works closely with the pharmacodiagnostics team to transfer assay methods to diagnostic companies for companion or complementary diagnostic development. Members of this team work on various projects in concert with multiple groups including oncology development teams, translational biology, biomarkers and pharmacodiagnostics. Additional key responsibilities include transferring and overseeing the execution of IHC work at external partners, and collaborating to provide technical expertise and analytical guidance for critical academic partnerships with BMS Additionally, the team is responsible for keeping current with advanced technologies related to tissue-based assays, including multiplex immunofluorescence, laser microdissection, spatial transcriptomics, advanced digital pathology, image analysis and deep learning Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Lifesciences or Biochemistry- 4 To 7 Yrs M.Tech - 7 Years To 12 Years.
