Job Description

    DescriptionDescription- You will be responsible for managing teams of high performing ML engineers and SW engineers in India that deliver innovations into manufacturing - Together with US team, define technical vision and strategy for ML in manufacturing in India - Manage, lead, mentor, and grow an organization of engineers and provide effective coaching to engineers - Collaborate with stakeholders and business team to define problems, to unblock with the goal of landing solutions to Apple factory - We will still expect you to perform rapid prototyping/coding and deeply involved into technical details of actual projects - Abilities to independently learn new technologies; prioritize tasks and take ownership; and meaningfully present results of analyses in a clear and impactful manner, Key QualificationsKey Qualifications
    • 8+ years of software and ML development experience, experience and proven track record of managing engineering teams
    • Passionate about grooming talented engineers and guiding them to have a larger impact on Apple s success
    • Proficient in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning concepts, and PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, OpenCV, PIL, AutoML, is essential.
    • Proven practical experience in developing algorithms for image processing, content-based video/image analysis, object detection, segmentation and tracking for real-world problems
    • MS or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related fields.
    • Can work with highly diversified cross function team and comfortable navigating through ambiguities
    • Self-motivated, responsible, excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
    • Experience of landing computer vision or deep learning solutions in manufacturing and supply chain is a big plus
    • Some travel will be required (
