  • You are a hands-on engineering manager with experience in building and operating cloud services. You will build autonomy into our products, tools, and environments to do Operations for us.Position Overview:You will manage a team and engineer solutions that can withstand failure and scaling challenges. The Cloud Platform Engineering team builds toolkits and hosts services in a platform for other Citrix development teams to improve their ability to achieve Security, Availability, Performance, Compliance, and Cost requirements for Citrix cloud services. You will and must deliver enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and integration while leveraging consumer internet economies of scale in multiple clouds (and in hybrid scenarios that reach behind the enterprise firewall).Role Responsibilities:
    • You will drive major projects or initiatives through to completion
    • Will coordinate, collaborate, and influence other leaders in the organization to win together and align with common goals
    • You will attract, retain, and grow a highly productive team while enabling them to execute at maximum efficiency
    • Will provide common solutions to multiple teams by identifying and addressing patterns in infrastructure and applications
    • Evangelize and contribute to best practices in library usage and end-to-end architecture
    • Foster relentless improvement and be a beacon of excellence for our five cloud pillars of trust: Security, Availability, Performance, Compliance, and Cost
    Basic Qualifications
    • You have exposure to distributed systems and applications at scale
    • You have proficiency in one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • You have industry experience providing hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, secure and optimize Cloud services
    • Have experience in developing software with one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, Go, Node.js)
    • Have familiarity with hosting technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, FaaS), cloud networking, and with cloud operational excellence patterns on security, reliability, efficiency, and observability
    • You are able to deliver cloud applications and resources reliably and without downtime
    • You have an Engineering Degree(Computer Science Preferred )
    • Have at least two years in managing a team
    • You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in software development
    Preferred Qualifications
    • You enjoy working with a large variety of services and technologies
    • You like to work in a team and solve problems
    • Enjoy pushing scalability to the limit with high throughput services
    • You like to design solutions with failure in mind to ensure reliability
    • You are active in the Open Source community by leading, evangelizing, or contributing to project
