With over 1,20,000 registered sellers, Flipkart has redefined the way brands and MSME s do business online.Nature of Job :As a Demand Planning Manager you will have to work on building the portfolio for Flipkart Mobiles category. Flipkart contributes to over 30% of the Indian smartphone market.This job requires you to build a strong understanding of the smartphone market, competition (both offline & online) & deliver insights basis analytics, logics & trends in the market.Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Create and own the PLC (product life cycle) for all new mobiles launched on Flipkart.
  • Responsible for both topline & bottomline for each of these mobiles at a PLC level.
  • Scope of PLCs include (but not limited to) : Sales projections, specifications & pricing inputs, selection strategy with timelines, profitability
  • Develop and set the right tracking metrics.
  • Develop a sharp process to capture & track competition details every month.
  • Will be SPOC for all market share related discussions & would be responsible for closing duopoly market share with central strategy team.
  • Work on certain Flipkart Unique/EOL deals with all required inputs & help business teams secure the deals.
  • Liaison between all stakeholders (BizFin, Buy & Sellside team, Demand Planning) and ensure seamless work/knowledge flow.
Preferred Experience & Skills :
  • 4 years of e-commerce experience with a Bachelors degree.
  • Demand/Sales planning experience in a Category will be a plus.
  • Prior experience in Smartphones/Electronics/ Appliances etc. will be a plus.
  • Hands on experience in any analytics tools, MS-Excel, SQL.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to express thoughts logically & succinctly.
