Job Description

    B.E./B.Tech / ME: 6 + year Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    • Design stage inputs on welding to designers based on the application (Mechanical, electrical, and thermal)
    • Welding type and welding configuration inputs and Study
    • Defining the welding qualification procedure and Notes in the drawings
    • Drawings review with respect to welding and sign off
    • Welding process improvement and qualification as per the standards
    • Welding feasibility study and decide the welding machine
    • Establishing the DOE for welding trials
    • Mechanical and metallurgical study of the welding and qualification of the welding
    • Able to finalize the DVP based on the requirements of various national & international standards
    • Able to analyze & understand the CAE results and able to Provide solutions
    • Proficency in benchmarking in relavant areas
    • Required Real time experience in PLM environment and its process
    • Able to lead a team and able to interact with multifunctional team & able to convene meetings
    • ability to work with CFT consisting of members from outside of department like sourcing, validation, prototyping & Knowledge in cells and its specifications
    Qualifications B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech., in Mechanical Engg /Automobile/ Mechantronics. General Requirements
    • Ability to work closely with the Electrical, Thermal, Power pack and Battery Technology Team internally
    • Ability to apply GD&T, DFMA principles
    • Knowledge in Design Verification/Validation Plan, DFMEA and PFMEA
    • Basic knowledge in electrical, thermal systems & supplier interaction
    • Good knowledge in material selection
