Wealth Management Technology Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team. Job Profile The Performance Engineering team is part of the Wealth Management Organization at Morgan Stanley. The team is responsible for Performance Testing and Engineering activity across Wealth Management division. We do performance testing and certify the changes of the application team. We are looking for colleagues with strong sense of ownership and ability to drive performance engineering activity. The role is primarily responsible to end to end performance testing of the application starting from NFR requirement gather, defining testing scope, creating test scripts and scenarios, executing load test, analyzing bottleneck and provide solution and certify the changes. Responsibilities : * On Prem, Private, Public Cloud Performance Testing * Execute Change and Regression PE testing for in scope Applications and Platforms * Conduct different types of PE testing, including load, soak, scalability, stress, etc. * Drive PE Shift Left adoption to democratize PE testing - conduct training, boot camp, awareness sessions * Capture and socialize most common performance issues/insights with key stakeholders to prevent those from happening * Validate PE environment readiness and reconcile/address differences between prod and non-prod * Maintain existing PE tooling, including version upgrades & conduct tooling R&D, * Primary Skills * 7-9 years of experience in Performance Testing and Engineering * Expert knowledge on JMeter and LoadRunner * Knowledge of Technology Tooling: Monitoring and APM tools including Splunk, AppD, etc. * Ability to Performance Scripting, Execution, Analysis, Tuning on Client Side and Server Side * Experience working with varied technologies like .NET, Angular, WPF, Mainframe, Flex etc., performance analysis at different layers such as JAVA, UI and DB tuning and troubleshooting. * Experience supporting PE testing for platforms like Kafka, Apigee, SOLR, MF DB2, SQL Always On, Azure Public Cloud, OpenShift etc * Knowledge on Resiliency Testing including Chaos Engineering on Gremlin Chaos Eng tools or similar * Understanding of application Architecture and its dependencies and failure points Strong experience in developing distributed/real-time applications using C#/ .NET/.NET Core * Experience working on Agile/DevOps Good To have Skills * Experience in Wealth Management or a similar Financial environment * Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
