Job Description

    Role:A comprehensive role which involves all aspects of sourcing and project management vendoridentification, vendor onboarding, negotiations, supply chain management, and driving new productdevelopment projects to support business growthRole & Responsibilities: Vendor development and management for private label brandso Identifying vendors (product, packaging) for different segments in the beauty andpersonal care categoryo Evaluating and shortlisting vendors based on commercial and quality parameterso Setting up supply chain to source from different vendors while ensuring importregistrations, regulatory and legal requirements are fulfilledo Leading negotiations and cost improvement projects to improve profitabilityo Signing up contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure that data and intelligenceis protectedo On-going vendor management for capacity planning, product development, productionand issue resolution Project Managemento Managing all project networks to ensure timely launches of new products / variantso Identifying and mitigating risks proactively to enable a faster go-to-market Operational Excellenceo Establishing operations to support the forecasted plans in order to achieve top line goalso Responsible for ensuring production and order fulfilment as per business projectionso Managing and improving supply chain OTIFo Ensure that inventory is managed to avoid out of stock or slob situationo Plan for ordering cycle effectively to maintain freshness of stock Cost Control and Budget Managemento Managing costs to deliver product and packaging solutions that are within the targetcost identified by the business teamo Leading cost improvement projects to improve profitability Team / Stakeholder Management - Working closely with buying / brand management,category, sales and planning teams for delivery of business plans Projects Lead the key initiatives from a sourcing standpoint to support category growthplans through streamlining vendor management across all categoriesQualifications & Experience 6-8 years of experience overall, with good exposure in Beauty and Personal Care Space Experience in at least one of relevant functions any industry in BPC space - (in retail /branded space sourcing, supply chain, project management) Strong knowledge of vendors and systems in the beauty and personal care space Experience in Project management Good analytical skills - collecting, analysing and interpreting data; Sound problem solvingskills,
