Job Description

Senior Technical Leader vECU Simulation and Testing for ADAS/Automated DrivingMercedes-Benz Research and Development, India is seeking senior engineer with working experience in vECU framework for ADAS/AD with a strong background in AUTOSAR classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, BSW configuration, Communication Protocols, Functional validation concepts, test automation and reporting.Simulation team develops and integrates vECU. Team is also involved in developing test concept for BSW, ADAS functions, automating the test process and reporting. Having extreme passion for ADAS ECU virtualization, sound knowledge of AUROSAR adaptive/classic and C/C++/python/CAPL programming skills is a pre-requisite.Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrate ADAS virtual ECU
  • Write and Execute test for ADAS functionality in Integrated test Framework.
  • Automate test and reporting process.
  • Support in preparing and presenting results based on requirements from engineering and management team based in Germany and India
  • Ideates and improvises on the requirements through continuous innovation and application of new techniques and methods
  • Interacts with suppliers for functional requirement and validation concepts.
Basic Qualification:
  • BE/Masters in Engineering Electronics/Computer Science related branches.
  • Strong background in AUTOSAR ADAPTIVE, ADAS Simulation Tools and Interfacing
  • Experience in ADAS Simulation Framework and Functional validation for 6-10 years
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Excellent knowledge of AUTOSAR ADAPTIVE and SW validation concepts.
  • Strong foundation of ADAS or autonomous driving.
  • Good understanding of Vector Tools DaVinci Configurator Pro, vVIRTUAL Target Pro, CANoe, NVIDIA Drivesim, CARLA, VTD.
  • Excellent knowledge of ADAS Functional Validation communication protocol and Diagnostics
  • Excellent programming skills in any of C, MATLAB, C++, Python
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
  • Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
