Deep domain knowledge enables us to truly understand and address the challenges and opportunities of Industrial Automation.This is an MES Solution Architect or Consultant -P&P role, reporting to the Engineering Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) located in Bangalore. You will be responsible for Lead for consulting assignments of medium complexity and supports in development of consultancy products and services.Your responsibilities

  • Supporting project team in articulating the value proposition of products or solutions sold to their customers and provide detailed technical expertise of products or solutions and respective industrial use cases.
  • Collaborating with clients to implement new business processes as sold in the delivery project. Developing enterprise business architecture deployment strategies and decision support models for clients.
  • Maintaining high level of credibility with customers and thereby driving continuous consulting business from our customers.
  • Providing coaching and guidance for account team when driving consulting revenues from installed base customers.
  • Providing product development team coaching and guidance during development, testing and delivery of product releases.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology/Chemical engineering.
  • Maximum 10-15 years of experience.
  • Must have strong knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System(MES).
  • Must have good understanding in manufacturing domain.
  • Required from paper & pulp or discrete Industry background.
  • Good to have software programming & database knowledge.
