Job Description

Position: Developer/Sr DeveloperHours: Monday - Friday 10:00am to 7:00pmExperience Skill: 5-8 yearsRole Description: The main requirement for this individual is to be part of the development team at SSgA, primarily focusing on C#.NET application development (Windows based, WPF, WCF based applications) and integration with SQL server. Along with this Individual should be able to provide support in SharePoint & VBA as well. The individual should be ready for both development and support activities.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesFull lifecycle development of applications to meet business needs.Should be able to understand the business requirementsUnit Testing of own & others applicationsSupport & Maintenance of existing applicationsLiaison with other developers and project managersProduce or review timing estimates for proposed workShould be able to communicate the requirements to other developersShould be able to interact with users for gathering requirementsGood problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problemsAbility to design, code, test and implement software solutionsEnhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvementMaintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defectsShould be a team playerExpertiseLanguages and Technologies

  • C# programming, VB.Net, ADO.NET, XML
  • .Net Framework 4.5 and above
