Job Description

Job OverviewMust to Have Skills: Netapp Cluster mode & 7-Mode, SAN and NAS storage administration.Good To Have Skills: IBM V3700, Brocade SAN Switch administration

  • Key Responsibilities: Performs daily Storage operation activities on Netapp (ONTAP 9) MetroCluster, Netapp 7-Mode and IBM V3700 storage provisioning based on standard procedures detailed in the Operational RunBook, and meets Customer agreed-upon standards.
  • LUN, Volume, Aggregate, RAID management.
  • MetroCluster administration and management
  • Managing and configuring storage protocols like CIFS, NFS, FC, iSCSI.
  • SAN management on Brocade switch.
  • Managing Snapshot/Quotas and deduplication.
  • Hands-on experience of Snapmirror and snapvault technologies.
  • Ontap upgrade
  • OnCommand Unified Manager
  • AutoSupport and vendor management
  • Service now ticketing tool knowledge in addition.
:Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Must have Skills : Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design, Architecture Design Key Responsibilities : 1 Liaising with the customer technical representatives Provide recommendations to client on deployment of new features Create and Manage requests on ITSM tool Implement the changes as applicable, test the changes and handover to customer Troubleshoot issues with Storage Deployment Storage Technology operations management Technical Experience : 1 Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting skills on HP, EMC, NetApp, StorOne and Data Domain storage technologies Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Flexible to work in 24x7 Shifts Professional Attributes : 1 Should have 3 years of experience in Storage operational support Should have supported Storage deployments Should have experience performing Storage transitions / transformations Good understanding of procedures, application and concepts within own subject area and understanding them in depth Educational Qualification : BE Additional Information : 1 Should have 3 years of experience in Storage operational support Should have supported Storage deployments Should have experience performing Storage transitions / transformations Good understanding of procedures, application and concepts within own subject area and understanding them in depth,
