In these roles you will be responsible for: The Technical Readiness Managers are responsible for interfacing with the IT Support teams in the business for all DCT Delivery managed projects and Service Enablement requests. They are the key interface between the project and all IT stakeholders to ensure an effective and efficient launch and rollout for any changes touching the IT support infrastructure and components. In short, they are the front line for all of the IT support teams and estate. Their principal aim is to ensure a smooth introduction of new services into the IT estate and minimising the risk of in-life defects and manage the IT teams Readiness activities and manage the post launch warranty. Technical acceptance of all Cloud blueprints from Cloud Platform team. The Readiness Manager may also be required to complete activities outside the traditional Technical Readiness Role such as Service Design and Business Analysis activities to ensure a successful delivery and service enablement. Requirements for this role include: Work carried out is across a wide range of technology below is a non exhaustive list of technologies encountered in the deliveries by Data CentresAWS (Amazon Web Services)GCP Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall DeliveryUNIX Operating Systems and Windows including virtualised infrastructureStorage Netapp, HP 3Par - (NAS, SAN, RAID concepts, file storage, block storage)Database technologies Oracle / MSSQL / MongoDB/ Postgres VMWareNSXCisco UCSCisco routing and switching including Cisco Software (IOS, NXOS, ACI);Load balancing concepts (F5) - knowledge lending to (vCMP, iSeries, LTM, AFM, DNS); Generic data centre security products including Cisco and Checkpoint firewallsCisco ACI; Multi-tenancy concepts (Cisco ACI, Juniper Contrail, VMware NSX); Network concepts is required including concepts of IPv4, IPv6, VLANs, subnets, DMZs.
