  • Participate as a member of an IT technical team or teams. May lead a small team of support or application engineers. Mentors other team members.
  • Drive solutions to tax issues within S4 order management processes and financial accounting/reporting (Global Next and TR OneSource Tax Determination engine)
  • Applies technical knowledge to operate and administer infrastructure or software platforms and user groups of moderate to high complexity.
  • Independently resolves some highly complex technical issues within a given technical area. Partners with members of a given team or other IT teams as appropriate.
  • Proactively searches for issues and provides solutions to prevent problems from occurring in area of responsibility including patch management. Independently reviews, implements and verifies highly complex and high-risk changes and solutions.
  • Understand and document business flows from end to end, and how applications support business processes
  • Self-monitors systems to proactively find user issues
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor s degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience
  • or
  • Master s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

  • Knowledgeable in global tax laws

  • Positive attitude toward continuous learning, versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Demonstrated ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
