Job Description

    Oracle Apps Technical consultantHandled large database estates and managed large databasesHands-on experience on RAC installation, administration, patching and upgradationHands-on experience on database recovery and restorationInstall, configure and manage ASM instances in oracleInstallation and administration of multiple versions of databases on multiple Unix platforms and Windows serverPlan and execute major migrations and upgradesDefine and configure the disk and diskgroups in ASM and troubleshootPlan the database upgrade, migration and patchingPlan and implement the backup/recovery on need basisCoordinate and work with database vendors for resolution on major incidentsDatabase refresh, re-org, backup using RMAN and DatapumpInstall and configure grid control database monitoring toolsInstall, Administer, manage and troubleshoot Oracle grid controlDefine performance benchmarks and metricsPeriodic database instance performance review and tuning recommendationProactive database analysis and suggestion to application team / businessPrimarily role is supporting the production and non-prod database environmentsEnsure the reduction of repeated errors through implementation of necessary checkpointsSLA tracking and reporting to Higher managementPrepare and Maintain Standard Operating Procedure for all activitiesProactive identification of risks and mitigation of the sameImplement and Periodical check on AutomationImplement and Periodical check on DB SecurityIdentify, document and track Technology related risks and mitigation plan in the projectTechnical and Process guidance to teamProvide 24x7 and on call support for critical application databasesFor Enquiriescontacthidden_emailhidden_mobile
