In all that we do, we seek to create competitive advantage by dedicating resources to attracting, developing and retaining talented individuals who are customer-focused, collaborative, innovative and driven.This is a Payroll Specialist role, reporting to the Delivery Manager of Payroll and will be a part of Global Business Services (GBS) HR Delivery team based in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all employees are paid accurately and timely on a monthly processing schedule. You will work autonomously, while processing employee changes related to payroll, make adjustments, review time data, prepare payrolls, submit payrolls by deadlines, generate reports, and maintain payroll records.Your responsibilities

  • Maintaining clean, up-to-date employee information in SAP payroll and timekeeping systems, man-aging the collection, calculation, and entering of payroll and processing of individual and bulk data.
  • Trouble shooting payroll system to ensure accuracy, compliance, reliability and efficiency.
  • Updating tax withholding changes, statutory deductions, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, insurance premium de-ductions, direct deposit account changes, pay changes, and other payroll related system modifications.
  • Distributing paychecks, as applicable, including expediting termination checks, as needed.
  • Generating scheduled reports for compliance team, finance and Adhoc reports, as requested, including payroll register / muster reports.
  • Processing variation of pay types including settlement arrears, Leave, bonuses, severance, retro, etc. Responsible for timely, and accurate final termination payments.
  • Works with Location Time Admin, REMSC etc to clear time and attendance
  • Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Your background
  • Bachelors/Master s degree in relevant field or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong time management, adaptation abilities, detail oriented & ability to prioritize.
  • Analytical skills to understand, evaluate and present critical data.
  • Effective communication skills, fluency in English language both verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll system, or similar HRIS/timekeeping system with ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Knowledgeable of Income Tax, PT and local payroll regulations, filing and compliance requirements
  • Working understanding of wage and structure and Labour laws.
