Workforce Planning Persistent Production team is tasked with delivering data driven analytics and reporting solutions to support the multiple WFP functions. The WFP team supports Chase s call centers, back office, and ~5,200 retail branches.Projects engaged by the Persistent Production team can be complex, data intensive, and of a high level of difficulty, each having significant impact on the business. Typically, these problems will be of an unstructured nature, whereby the employee will be expected to quickly assess and comprehend the situation then develop a practical problem-solving strategy. You will be expected to pull the data, create summaries and insights, share recommendations, analyze the topic in question, develop solution proposals and review the results and next steps with management for prioritization and delivery.The WFP Persistent Production Team is tasked with ensuring the day-to-day analytics and reporting activities are delivered quickly and to stakeholder satisfaction. Particularly focus is paid to ad-hoc and executive questions surrounding:
• Data analytics, reporting and visualization
• Non-operational but informational reporting / visualization and executive presentations
• Automation
• Scenario analyses in support of CAO, marketing, National Sales, site strategy, call center, etc. troubleshooting
• Exploratory data analysis for root-cause explanations to answer the pre/post why questions (e.g., why are call times 15% higher than our YoY counts)
Qualifications Educational BackgroundBachelor s Degree with 6+ years or Master s+ with 4+ years of experience operating as reporting and analytics professional with background in either Computer Science, MCA, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Information Science, or related disciplines.Technical Skills
• Hands on experience for data pull using SQL and Alteryx, delivering reports and insights, data analytics inference, and visualizations (good to have) to communicate with partners and stakeholders
• Understanding and hands on experience of designing and implementing ETL processes
• Familiarity with basic data table operations (SQL, etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Python, Spark, SparkML, Teradata/ Oracle, PySpark
• Experience with Tableau or Qlik is good to have
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
• Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in large scale data handling
• Ability to guide and conduct research and drive valuable insights from data
• Working experience or exposure of Agile, Understanding of Scrum model
• Experience in Cognos / Business Object
• Exposure to cloud (AWS / Azure) is a plus
Responsibilities
• Partnering with onshore leaders to drive projects assigned to the team
• Contribute to data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting, and data analysis methodologies
• Exhibit thought leadership and demonstrated analytical thinking to drive insights from data
• Perform in depth analysis to resolve a business problem by employing the appropriate tools available in the enterprise
• Identify new opportunities to bring new process improvements
• Communicate data findings through engaging stories that are easy to understand
• Quickly assesses the big picture in complex situations and identify what is critical
• Routinely make decisions for best course of action and to drive business solutions
• Support internal and external processes and workflows, suggest improvements based on data analysis and provide insights into the enterprise operations
• Work with business domain experts to identify data relevant for analysis
• Provide and apply quality assurance best practices for data mining/analysis services
• Develop new analytical methods and/or tools as required
• Adhere to change control and testing processes for modifications to analytical models
• Collaborate with unit managers, end users, development staff, and other stakeholders to integrate data mining results with existing systems
• Extract reports/ data, analyze and provide recommendations for the project undertaken
• Respond to and resolve data mining performance issues. Monitor data mining system performance and implement efficiency improvements
