Job Description

    As a member of the strategy team of Strategic Market Unit (SMU), you we will be working on conceptualizing & program managing the execution of the signed off strategy including M&A to achieve the vision for the SMU. In this role, you will closely partner with Sector leaders, GBL, enabling functions of the SMU and larger Wipro ecosystem. This role provides an opportunity to closely work with the leadership team of the SMU and the wider Wipro ecosystem. Role description a) Strategy - Organic Own the process for preparation of Start Plan for SMU & Sectors Extend strategy support to Sectors & Global Business lines Work on various strategic initiatives Program management of strategic programs Collaborate with marketing function on engagements with Analysts & Advisors b) Strategy - Inorganic Prepare the M&A strategy Work with M&A team in identifying potential targets Lead the program management of acquisition pursuits Program management of integration of acquired entities Competencies Strategic thinking - big picture orientation and ability to build effective strategies to drive growth faster than market Thought Leadership - ability to engage with SMU leaders & analysts and formulate POV on trends and leverage insights for strategy formulation. M&A capabilities: Prepare a M&A plan, independently undertake a strategic fit analysis & end to end understanding of M&A lifecycle Program management capabilities: Strong program management capabilities with a track record of independently driving programs involving diverse stakeholders Personal Drive - entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, a strong desire to learn and shape your own career path. Adaptability ability to deliver in a matrixed organization. Education and Experience: Post graduate degree in Management with a Bachelor s degree in Technology or Engineering At least 8 years experience in the IT Services Industry - must have worked in the Top 5 IT Services companies Good knowledge of the Global IT market Should be comfortable working in a matrixed organization Strong Program management experience,
