Job Description

    Hi,Please go through the jd below,Experience - 9 to 17 YearsLocation - BangaRole Pressure Vessel Design EngineerAs a Pressure Vessel Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical detailed design and therequisition activities of auxiliary systems required for Reciprocating Compressors, focusing on PressureVessel design. assure balance between design flexibility needs and strict product standardizationadoption leading supply chain goals accomplishment, cost-out strategies implementation, siteinstallation/service support.Job description:Analyzing Customer specifications and internal requisition documentation, preparing a summaryreport for outsource engineering resources Performing the thermal design of heat exchangers, based on available internal data and Customerspecific requirements Preparing report (thermal data sheet and/or supply specification) based on generated results andpresent technical data to internal and external Customers Interface with the outsource engineering resources,or directly with Manufacturers, for themechanical design and construction drawing issue Coordinating and supporting the outsource engineering resources, monitoring their quality, timingand productivity. Coordinating and supporting the manufacturer during bid phase and construction phase Collaborating to create and update internal tools in order to leverage standardization and robustdesign. Assisting Field Service in troubleshooting (Root Cause Analysis) and perform surveys on site ifrequired. Supporting Customers in deep technical review meeting demonstrating expertise and full ownershipof mechanical discipline. Assuring quality awareness through lessons learned implementation, technical notes issuing andresolutions of top issues.To be successful in this role you will: Have a masters degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university orcollege (one or more years work experience in Engineering/Technology in Oil && Gas sector ispreferred). Be able to use thermal design software (HTRI) and mechanical design software (Compress, PVElite) Be able to use design/modeling software such as parametric 3D CAD (NX or similar) and 2D(Autocad). Have a basic knowledge of industrial manufacturing process and materials. Show knowledge of International Standards such as ASME, TEMA, API etc. Be a clear thinker: make decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available information.
