For more information about us, please visit us at www.wdc.comJob-Title: Staff Firmware DeveloperAnalyzing the requirements from cross-functional team and come up with design.work hands on in developing SES FW across Platform architecturesDevelop new firmware features.Review design and code.Fix bugs in existing Firmware code and Collaborate with cross functional team in debugging issues.Understand FW design and develop necessary enhancements.Able to work with geographically distributed team and ensure on time & quality delivery of committed deliverables.Individual must have the passion to learn new technology.Preferred Qualifications:Excellent in C programming skills.Design, develop and debug SES Firmware by applying knowledge of storage hardware architecture and system designHands on experience in design, development, testing and debugging of embedded systems.Must have strong knowledge of SAS/SATA/PCIe/NVMe protocols.Excellent knowledge in SAS Expanders and SAS HBAs is preferredDeep Expertise in analysing SAS/PCIe trace.Experience in the following is preferred - PCIe, NVMe, Redfish, SwordfishStrong analytical and problem solving skillsGood communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsBE/MTech in Electronics & Communication/embedded system,
