Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop product strategy and roadmap. Translate market needs into product capabilities, features, and directions . Present to key team members including the executive team.
  • Conduct ongoing industry analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking related to security and compliance trends
  • Write detailed actionable product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories. Manage the product lifecycle from product definition to product release.
  • Plan integration of security solutions from the partner ecosystem into Nutanix solutions
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, SDL, Support, and Sales on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Nutanix sales teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide product positioning and contribute to collaterals

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of product management experience related to enterprise security or cloud security
  • Experience with infrastructure security, vulnerability management, encryption, identity, and access management, or associated domains.
  • Direct experience with the compliance and certification process is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills with the field, customers, and internal stakeholders including senior executives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.
  • Ability to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals
