Job Description

Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred., *Technical Program Manager Financial Services Cloud YOU ARE READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT As a member of Oracle s Financial Services Cloud Product Development organization, you will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver leading edge cloud native, multi-tenant SaaS solutions for the global marketplace. Our Development approach is based on a DevOps-centric mindset, combining software development with operations expertise to shorten the development life cycle while delivering features, fixes, and updates frequently, in close alignment with business objectives. YOU ARE SETTING STANDARDS As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary development projects using your engineering expertise. The primary focus of this role is: Coordinate, oversee and effect updates to the program-wide project plan, lead leadership reviews of the plan, identify and clearly communicate project risks and issues to stakeholders, facilitate and track to resolution as needed. Publish meeting notes and follow-up to ensure open items are actioned to closure. Drive the evolution of our Development and Operations Methods and Practices by working with leaders to identify, plan and effect changes targeted at increasing efficiency, mitigating risk, and enhancing the developer experience. This includes proposing improvements to address process and tooling gaps, managing and communicating status and disposition across the development lifecycle and our operations. Deepen Agile discipline across the program, run the cross-org Scrum of Scrums, manage Jira and Confluence practices. Collaborate with technical writers to document our methods and practices and communicate out across the program any updates, enhancements, etc. Self-Starter. YOU ARE SKILLED To land this job you will demonstrate expertise in the following areas: Bachelor s degree or higher, with experience relevant to our program 10+ years of experience as a program manager in a tech industry or development management role in a relevant Cloud environment Direct development and delivery experience managing full development lifecycle; operations expertise a plus. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Apply program management discipline to own the program level plan spanning multiple development teams and operations. 2. Continually work to optimize process and workflow for a high functioning development organization 3. Utilize your technical background to help drive resolution to complex technical issues across various teams 4. Build and own processes to identify and remove cross-team blockers 5. Manage communication channels and provide consistent and predictable reporting to stakeholders 6. Use Confluence, Slack, JIRA, Etc. to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders 7. Own a portfolio of projects aimed at improving Methods & Practices and ensure all work existing and future, drives operational improvements aligned to sound practices. 8. Independently conduct Audit to identify non-compliance, manage corrective action plans when M&P deviations occur, and escalate/communicate project health to leadership team 9. Work with leadership to meet and raise the operational bar with appropriate processes, enhancements, and solutions 10. Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms
