Job Description

Implementing a flexible security architecture is one of the key benefits of SD-WAN technology. Enterprises and service providers alike are using SD-WAN platforms to implement best-of-breed security services including firewall, URL filtering, intrusion detection system/prevention (IDS/IDP), and anti-malware/anti-virus services. These security services can be implemented natively as SD-WAN software and hardware at the branch or by service-chaining to telco cloud or cloud security broker services.What are we looking for:
• Expertise in C/C++
• Expertise in Linux kernel understanding and preferably hands-on experience with OVS and/or DPDK
• Experience developing system-level software in Linux development environment for high throughput and performance profiling
• Hands-on experience with multi-core, multi-process/multi-threaded systems
• Good understanding of L2 and L3 protocols is desired
• Experience in High Availability, Security, Routing protocols is a plus.
• Passion for software development as a craft and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment where the market is constantly innovating and changing
• Good eye for problem solving and ability to debug complex multi-threading environment on Linux OS
We re also looking at QA engineers who can help us test these features. We re more specifically looking for:
• Expertise in Python
• Experience in testing firewalls, IDP/IDS systems, Web/URL filtering
• Cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCE, Kubernetes Virtualization, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V
• Experience with Large Scale Distributed systems with service-oriented architecture
• Experience with testing and running containerized applications in distributed environments
• Experience with messaging infra like Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Understanding of WAN technologies, bandwidth, latency and how they affect application performance.
