They work with a wide variety of internal stakeholders (including UI designers, engineers, services, support, marketing, and sales) in the full range of the product development cycle. At SAP SuccessFactors our Human Experience Management (HXM) vision is to have meaningful, individualized, end-to-end experiences that are designed completely around the needs of end users.You will be a key player in building out and evangelizing our Recruiting application and will help form and execute on our Talent Acquisition Suite vision. The team will look to you for guidance, based on proven experience as a product leader to help bring clarity to customer needs and to define the path forward for our solutions.Role:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively to both technical stakeholders (e.g. engineering, operations, services) and businesses stakeholders (e.g. customers, sales, marketing) you need to speak both languages as you are the linkage between the business and technical worlds.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering solutions customers love and understanding the craft behind doing it.
  • Be passionate about recruiting business practices and recruiting technology.
  • Be willing to help and mentor others on the product management craft.
  • Love to solution: understanding a business problem, knowing the product and technology, then figuring out how best to change the product to address the business need.
  • See the value in getting the details right, able to deliver high quality results under tight project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the product vision for your product area. Deeply understand the needs of customers and become familiar with best practices in recruiting.
  • Mange the backlog for your own scrum team and make all functional decisions for your product area.
  • Drive the more complex product enhancements, often with dependencies on other teams that must be coordinated.
  • Be the master of mapping customer business needs to product designs you articulate through epics and stories. Be a mentor and help others in this process.
  • Have a good eye for design and collaborate with your design counterpart to research and test concepts to ensure the UI that exposes your feature is intuitive and easy to use.
  • Managing the maintenance backlog is a priority, and making sure Support has what it needs to respond to tickets from customers who are using what the team has created.
  • Developing modern cloud software is about working with people, so you will be constantly connecting with others across the organization (UX, development, QA, platform, marketing, strategy, documentation, services, support, other application product teams) to realize your product vision.
Required Experience/Skills:
  • 12+ years of software Product Management/Product Owner experience, preferably for a SaaS vendor.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills, technical acumen, excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
  • Pro with agile development, e.g. grooming backlog and constant interaction with the scrum team; you must be able to clearly describe requirements and detailed functional stories to the scrum team.
  • Ability to drive a feature to completion, from requirements gathering to design and release; in addition, be capable of describing your work to others (Customers, Support, Services, etc.) to drive adoption and support for what you create.
  • Experience coaching more junior product mangers a plus.
  • BE/BTech/MTech/MCA from premier institution and with good academic background.
