Amongst others, many of the well-known globally operating grocery, hardgoods and specialty retailers, as well as fashion brands are our customers. In collaboration with the generic/standard LOBs our goal is to deliver best in class planning and supply chain processes to cater for constantly evolving business requirements within a fast-changing environment with a clear industry focus. We are working in a distributed team over multiple locations (and time zones) with a strong customer engagement and focus.ROLEAs a Product Management Expert, you will jointly drive with your colleagues the following tasks:Drive and define the future release strategy/roadmap for Retail Planning and Supply Chain solutions by reflecting/standardizing multiple customers needs and expectations Define product backlog and ensure that product team and related scrum teams have a comprehensive and holistic understanding of the overall product backlog consisting of both functional and non-functional requirements. Define product scope, concepts and design for solving complex industry business requirements and align them with internal and external stakeholders Define development scope and delivery goals with the engineering unit, enable the engineering teams and align on development progress and results Own the definition of demo stories and product related assets and collaterals to drive the launch of new products Present industry roadmap as well as functional concepts to customers and collect requirements and feedback (individually as well as on customer events) Manage and mitigate escalations Knowledge, understanding and experience with the standard development processes at SAP Strong presentation and oral/written communication skills Solid intercultural skills, experience in cooperation of individuals or teams between Bangalore, Europe and US Solid experience in managing complex project situations across multiple locations Substantial knowledge of the E2E processes in the Retail Industry, especially - but not limited to planning and supply chain processes. Experience with demand and promotion management as well as replenishment is of advantage. Solid knowledge of SAPs solutions for Consumer Industries, with a focus on Retail. Knowledge of S/4HANA Merchandizing and Customer Activity Repository is of advantage. Well-developed analytical skills, i.e. being able to structure complex problems and perform conceptual work Good experience in managing complex and challenging customer situations in all phases of customer Engagements Good knowledge of agile development principles and tools like Jira, for planning and tracking product backlogs and roadmap prioritization.ROLE REQUIREMENTSAcademic degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering 10+ years of relevant experience in the Software industry Professional with an academic background in Engineering or similar Product / Development Management background Several years of ERP and related experience, coupled with SAP product delivery experience Experience in driving initiatives with various stakeholders in a cross-functional environment Ability to deliver highest quality of work under time constraints and in complex environments High level of flexibility (also related to travel), integrity and confidentiality Experienced in working with global and virtual teams Very good team player with goal-oriented working style and proactive work attitude Very Good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of experience Ability in clear, concise and tactful communication with senior management, peers, partners and team members.WHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
