The ideal candidate is someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, passion for understanding client needs and building great products for them. As a project manager you will maintain close relationships with our users and other product teams working on solutions for internal, external and new business opportunities.Our #1 business principle is Our clients interests always come first. We are responsible for guiding products throughout all stages of the products lifecycle, including research, pitching, scoping, delivering, promoting, and tailoring solutions to our clients.How will you fulfill your potential You will be an associate product manager within the product management team, working cross-functionally to guide products from conception through launch, growth and maturity by connecting the technical and business worlds to meet our customers at their needs. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development and release adopting the principals of growth from MVP.As a Product Manager for the GS Publishing Platform you will:

• Play a critical role in understanding how content is created and leveraged to deliver One Goldman Sachs to our clients
• Work with business unit s, engineering teams from across the firm and the platform governance committee to prioritize feature enhancements for the platform
• Define the product vision, roadmap and growth goals for the platform
• Stay on top of industry trends and leverage this to drive the roadmap
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer feedback and KPIs to inform product strategy and pipeline development
• Prioritize initiatives and features using domain expertise, customer insights, and market research to make informed trade-offs between new feature development, platform investment, and optimizations
• Scope product releases (MVPs) to deliver value early and validate business hypotheses with the least amount of effort

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of previous work experience as an Associate Product Manager, or similar role
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems and roadmaps to stakeholders
• Demonstrated success collaborating with design and engineering peers to lead a product development team

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing an entire products lifecycle, from conception to launch
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
• Technical background
