Who are we looking for Were looking for a product manager / senior product manager to work on consumer experience for our platform products which powers the LIVE class module. As an individual contributor, this PM should be able to analyze multiple pieces of discrete information in the form of user research-led insights, competitive study, and empirical evidence through experiments to put together a cohesive roadmap, execute on it, and deliver business outcomes.Experience required : 3+ years of relevant product experience with 1+ years as a PM at a consumer experiencePreference : Product Managers who have worked in platform product space either in B2C or B2B2C consumer space and have been instrumental in developing, collaboratively with stakeholders, critical experiences from scratch Responsibilities : What to expect from the role This is an opportunity to work in industry leading LIVE classroom platform which caters to children across K-12 segment by creating learning engagement experiences and drives learning outcome for its users. The platform sits in the center of the Vedantu services and connects the best teachers, content creators with students across the country to deliver best in class curriculum based learning.In the last 2-3 years we have built different classroom suits to cater to students across K-12 and introduced new paradigms of learning that are first in the industry. We have powered creation of new business lines that generate $ per year for the organisation. What we have realized is that the platform is as good as the users that create value for the students.Knowledge facilitators and Content creators being at the helm of value creation, this role is going to enable Teachers and content creators to deliver maximum impact to students learning experience. We are super stoked about someone who can come in and define new standards of learning at Vedantu. What responsibilities can you expect while working as part of this team - Understand deeply how students across different age group learn- Understand the Jobs teachers and the content creators carry out so that you can deliver effective interventions to create maximum impact- Collaborate with Academics teams, Content team, Growth teams & Business stakeholders to build learning products for teachers & content creators to ensure seamless service delivery of the learning experience- Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to create deep experiences in the platform for its users- As an individual contributor, you should be able to analyze multiple pieces of discrete information in the form of user research led insights, competitor studies and empirical evidence through experiments to put together a cohesive roadmap, execute on it and deliver business outcomes Cultural Fit : You will enjoy this role : - If you love designing for deep consumer experiences & get excited by being able to help kids learn & be better- If you are a natural problem solver - We dont have all the answers and were hoping youll play an important role in helping us find those answers!- If you are comfortable with ambiguity and steer the team despite the chaos of a fast-paced environment. - If you are excited by big hairy audacious goals and willing to do whatever it takes to set the product up for success - If you have bias for action and a sense of urgency - the answer to most questions will be we needed this as of yesterday!- If you can easily straddle between the day-to-day execution as well as painting the big picture from time to time- If you enjoy being a kickass individual contributor with very high standards of execution excellence- If you have a strong product sense & product strategy orientation shaped through a strong empathy for users while understand their needs and motivations- If you can clearly articulate how your product area contributes to the broader business objectives and what problem it solves, not only for the primary user but also for internal processes related to the service- If you are always User-focused; keeping the users at the heart of everythingQualifications :What do we expect from you - Experienced as a Product Manager (3+ years), with a proven track record of shipping impactful products- Ability to operate independently and be fully responsible for a product area- A team player with excellent communication skills; agile, creative and tenacious, who can thrive in a constantly changing environment- Insights & empathy driven - Articulate needs & wants of the different actors & be able to come up with product led solutions to meet them- Data-informed; taking decisions based on facts rather than opinions or assumptions- Experienced at scoping, planning and prioritization and can successfully use known methods to tackle the problem at hand- Is skilled at applying PM best practices and can effectively lead the work of their product development team, with little or no mentoring and support from more senior product managers- Past experience in edutech space is a plus,
