Job Description

The role is for the InMobi Telco Cloud Business Unit, which is focused on building following value propositions for Telcos and OEMs.1. Creating new digital revenue streams for Telcos & OEMs2. Driving improved Marketing & Advertising outcomes for TelcosYou will be joining the team as a Product Marketer for this Business Unit. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for understanding our customers and partnering with the product team to develop and prioritize the product roadmap and work closely with the Business and Marketing teams to take our products to market. This role would involve the need to handle GTM nuances of both sides of ourofferings - To Telcos & OEMs and also to Consumers of our products.You will own product messaging, positioning, sales and partner enablement, new product launches, as well as partner with field marketing teams to drive demand and adoption. These products span On device monetization offerings, Owned and operated apps, data monetization and also Advertising / Marketing platforms focused on Telcos as a vertical .The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who can blend business insights with quantitative and qualitative data to develop strategic recommendations. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence and drive initiatives across cross-functional teams.Competencies / Capabilities needed for the role:1) Build Market, Customer, Competitor Intelligence: Use customer research, market and competitive intelligence and product performance data to represent the voice of the customer. Partner with Product Management to develop long-term product strategies and roadmaps

  • Competitive Intel - Intelligence on competitors offering and value propositions. Offerings, narrative, pricing, value proposition to the supply side, value prop to the demand side etc.
  • Device Intel - Stay on top of and understand the different flows on the handsets (OEM and Telcos).
  • Carrier Intel Understanding app portfolios of the telco
2) Create positioning and messaging for target personas that demonstrates an understanding of their key business problems and pain points and articulate our value proposition. Responsible for nomenclature, branding etc. 3) Deliver powerful sales content and tools (including presentations, playbooks, customer evidence)4) Understand the competitive space and create external and internal resources that help differentiate our solutions in the market.5) Work with sales and client services to understand their needs and deliver training and readiness that educates and inspires6) Work with the field marketing teams in regions to build comprehensive plans and support content creation as needed to drive product sales and adoption in market.7) Establish ways and means of assessing Product GTM efficacy and feedback from the market and ensure that this context is flowing into Product and Engineering teams.8) Two sided stakeholder ownership of Product marketing to Telcos and OEM s and also to Consumers who use our products.9) Coordinate with all teams (product, sales, client services, marketing) in launching products and solutions and ensure go-to-market plans are executed in support of overall business goalsWhat are we looking for
  • BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of overall experience in B2B tech (Product or Marketing roles), with 2 years of experience in B2B product marketing role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in marketing content creation (web, presentations, customer evidence), delivery of presentations, leading and managing meetings to diverse audiences, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in driving and completing multiple projects simultaneously and setting priorities, in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering results through cross-functional teams, in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Self-starter with the ownership and drive to identify and perform tasks and focus on outcomes and how to achieve them.
