As Secure Development Factory (SDF) System Engineer and Administrator, you will be at the heart of Western Digital s engineering process, delivering the software development tools and infrastructure that empowers engineering teams to develop and deliver high quality products quickly. The sheer diversity of Western Digital s products demands a secure development infrastructure that allows teams to develop many types of software at scale without sacrificing security, development velocity, stability, code quality or code health.This position requires partnering with global WDC engineering teams, IT teams and others to deliver the right scalable tools and infrastructure that help engineers develop, test, debug and release software and products quickly. We impact thousands of Western Digital developers worldwide and millions of customers by increasing the pace of product development, improving product quality and directly impacting WDC s bottom line.The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a relentless focus on the customer experience and an ability to multitask, assimilate data, make decisions and prioritize complex work while paying attention to the details and automate as much as possible during. Communication with internal customers, vendors and co-workers in a clear and professional manner is an absolute must.What you will be doing:For the Engineering Services Agile Tools team, we are looking for Senior Agile Tools Solutions engineer to deploy, support, maintain andtroubleshoot the Atlassian Agile tools development solutions such as

• Jira / Jira Datacenter / Jira Cloud
• Confluence / Confluence Cloud
• BitBucket / Bitbucket Datacenter / Bitbucket Cloud
• Crowd Datacenter
• FishEye / Crucible

Being part of the Secure Development Factory, you will also be exposed to or helping out with

• Ansible Automation
• Application/Infrastructure monitoring & trending analysis
• CI/CD tools and workflows
• Splunk

Work with development teams to on-board them and their environments into the Secure Development Factory environment to optimize WDCEngineering Services provided to development teams and their workflows.Work closely with development teams (development, release, QA, production) to constantly look for ways to bring out new solutions and improvealready solutions deployed to meet their needs.What we need to see:Must HaveBS/BA preferred or equivalent experience

• 9+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least half of years of hands-on technical leadership experience in IT and/or software

development teams.

• Excellent advanced knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible and respective apps: Advanced Roadmaps,

Structure, Eazybi, ScriptRunner)

• Extensive experience in Groovy automation development
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in working on Atlassian Cloud
• Strong experience with Atlassian best practices
• Extensive experience in deploying, maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting the current toolset used by our engineering teams such

as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.

• Experience in consolidating, and merging Jira instances into a Jira Datacenter environment (being experienced to migration to Atlassian

Cloud is a plus)Nice to Have

• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior/intermediate team members
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of Linux system administration, Networking, MySQL and Postgres databases
• Nice to have experience working on large scale deployments
• Nice to have, knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Gerrit, Subversion, Git, Ansible, CI/CD, .)
• Must possess strong documentation skills and can work with rapid change and at a fast pace.
• Proven ability to influence and/or lead high performing/ geographically dispersed teams.
