Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-8 years of experience in Application Penetration testing.
  • Any of the following certifications: CEH, OSCP, CHFI, CPT, CEPT, CISSP
Technical experience and skill set:
  • Strong Web Application security experience with thorough understanding of web application vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of Application security srchitecture
  • Knowledge of Database, Application and Web server design and implementation
  • Knowledge of Mobile platforms like Android, iPhone and information on mobile app pen testing methodology.
  • Exposure to security assessments of Native Mobile applications (Android/iPhone).
  • Hands on experience with the Mobile security assessment tools mainly with the platform specific SDK s like Android SDK adb, ddms, inbuilt tools with iOS SDK (XCode), iPhone simulator, iPhoneExplorer, otool, etc.
  • Knowledge of Software development lifecycle in a large enterprise.
  • Knowledge on securing Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of computer forensics, network exploitation and tool development a plus.
  • Development background in .Net, Java, Perl, Python a plus
  • Familiarity with at least one network and web application vulnerability scanners as well as source code analysis tools.
  • Experience in Application level attacks, bypassing firewalls, evading intrusion detection are a nice-to-have
  • Familiarity with Security Standards and groups (OWASP, WASC, NIST, FISMA)
  • Create reports and recommendations from your findings, including the security issues uncovered and level of risk
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
