With over 1,20,000 registered sellers, Flipkart has redefined the way brands and MSME s do business online.JD - Program Manager - Seller AcquisitionLocation - BangaloreJob Description Flipkart Nation Building is a critical part of the organization which is responsible for ensuring that Flipkart is making the required progress with entrepreneurs at the grassroot levels of the country. The team works on two primary projects: Flipkart Samarth and Walmart Vriddhi. Flipkart Samarth focuses on enabling sellers from the underserved sections of society and involves working with a cohort of sellers that have been traditionally offline businesses. Walmart Vriddhi focuses on enabling MSME sellers (primarily indian manufacturers) to do business on ecommerce.As one of the program managers in this team the candidate will be handling all aspects of these programs both in the enabling of acquisition of sellers and making sure the selection they bring to the platform gets the required visibility to enable sales. They would also have the opportunity to interact with key stakeholders from various teams internally and externally. He or she will be responsible for lead generation, successful onboarding, incubation and growth of these sellers on Flipkart through the help of his team.
    • Design processes and framework to track, monitor and solve for critical problems in the program
    • Manage stakeholder both internal and external, effectively
    • Ownership of day-to-day operations to ensure all deliverables are met in time and the onboarding team are never short of high quality leads
    • Should have an basic understanding of the cohort of sellers that are the primary target of these programs
    • In order to be successful the candidate should develop a thorough knowledge of relevant Flipkart processes and support teams to leverage the ecosystem to best support and enable the Nation Building charter
    • Conceptualize & execute new initiatives resulting in driving the key metrics associated with the programs
    • Perform deep-dives to find the root causes behind variances of key parameters over a given time-period
    • Think creatively to problem solve issues faced by team members on the ground and implement solutions
    • Background in business development is mandatory incumbent will have to be the kind who enjoys handling sales team and convincing sellers to go online on Flipkart
    Desired Skills & experience:
    • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
    • Ability to manage operations involving external partner teams
    • Program management skills, relationship management, interpersonal communication - ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams with an eye for detail
    • Ability to multi-task and work independently and as a team
    • 2-5 years of work ex
    • Strong Stakeholder management skills
    • Strong proficiency in MS Excel
    • Knowledge of R/Python, SQL would be a strong advantage (not mandatory)
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • High in energy and comfortable with a target driven environment
    • Past people management experience will be an added advantage
