Job Description

    Position : program SpecialistDept/Section : Program ManagementPURPOSE OF POSITION:To manage programs, to recevie the Enquires from PM/ GSM and turn around quotes (ZGQS/ GCA) with coordination of activities with other departments. To analyse the business case and make decision to accept good business which is profitable and in turn work with the CFT to role out lowest cost . To execute programs/ projects including transfers if any, flawlessly right from quote to production. Review and address low margin product periodically and put corrective actions. Review with GPMs Cost Competitiveness and drive plant to make improvements.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :Evaluate and approve the project based on strategic fit, preliminary financial justification, technical feasibility, and resource capacity. Note: Project number and project team members shall be assigned if the project is approved.Evaluate and approve the product proposal for submission to the customer and agree on the strategy for customer negotiations.Ensure that the product line meets the annual revenue and profits with customers based globally.Ensure Visibility of approved ePDR by GPM for earlier preparation of RPM putting in GSP.On time and accurate/optimized costing and investment to GPM for winning business from GSP costing structure.Support Product Manager on RPM(EWR) change management in terms of DMF/Re-costing/ Customer spec change / Internal design change before optimized, customer drawing and multiple sample build approvalSample approval tracking and hit PR6 product launch date. Product info accuracy in SAP. (MOQ, L/T, Costing)Support Product Manager on Set Safety Stock (SS), Forecast & Capacity Planning, S&E Review, Profit Value Review, ECN/PCN, 2nd source, Cost Reduction Program to achieve the best financial results to each programs in GSP.Handle Customer Visit in GSP. Understanding Division Solution Roadmap for technology and new process installation to GSP. Program Management Support to PHL.Review projects and quotes on a daily basis and intiate actions to complete with the process ownerDrive for continuous improvement in respective areasEnsure compliance with all Molex policies & procedures in all related areasAny other projects/work assigned by managementUnderstand the product development process aligned to Automotive / Consumer industryFamiliar with quality system ManagementQualification:Graduate/Diploma in any DisciplineGood communication skills / preferable if worked in a similar industry /understanding of a Cable and connector manufacturing process.Other Technical:Experience:Minimum 5 years in relevant areaSkill Sets & Competencies :1Knowledge of SAP/MRP2Program management and Process Knowledge for Connectors and harnesses3Good communication skills4Conversant with MS office5Good knowledge of Connectors and application.Special Skills6Should be smart in understanding Mfg process and able to relate it to end customer requirement
