The WAN group is responsible for developing ATM, FR, X.25 and other WAN related features for MND products.As an Embedded Software Engineer your scope of Responsibilities would include, Design, code and test new features for data communications products. Investigate and provide solutions for customer escalations as requiredUtilize written specifications and produce the necessary technical documentation to describe designs. Ability to work within a structured development environment and observe process guidelines. Skills and Job Requirements Software products Expertise in internals of middleware products such as database engines, SunOne, WebLogic etc. Familiarity with product architecture, hands- on experience in product porting, QA, performance tuning. Programming experience in Core Java, C , C. 2 yrs exp in OOPS, C and core Java Looking for engineers with 2 yrs experience in Core Java technologies, Java Swing, XML, JDBC, JSP and Servlets and OOAD. You must have excellent grasp of OO fundamentals and be able to convert user requirements into detailed design using OOAD with UML. Any experience in Storage and Networking domains is a plus. Brilliant candidates with C experience in Storage domain could be considered for the Java openings. You must have hands- on experience in Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), JMS and JDBC. You should have strong knowledge of SQL and Database concepts like Transactions. You should be able to design and develop server side solutions and apply design patterns in solution architecture.,
