Always safe. Always Simple.The management and mitigation of ICS risk is becoming increasingly threat led to ensure effectiveness of controls. The role will drive and support Threat Action initiatives which operate across control silos, projects, functions and business lines to mitigate ICS risk. As Project Manager Office Support, the role will assist the PM to best manage the frameworks which will ensure successful planning and delivery aligned to New Ways of Working, QPRs and Refinement Forums.StrategyThe role holder will be responsible for assisting the PM with all aspects of the project, through its lifecycle, to agreed budget and quality:

  • Assist with managing the Threat Action Program Risk project(s) / change through the approved methodology and successfully delivers the scope with a disciplined approach to change control and zero tolerance for scope creep.
  • Assist the PM with managing the delivery of and providing direction within a project, working closely with the relevant business leads and stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, costs, benefits and all other key aspects of the project are documented
  • Responsible for ensuring Group Standards are met
  • Assist with ensuring the Accountable Executives and the Investment/Steering Committee is made aware of any material risks, issues, cost, benefit, and scope changes
  • Assist with creating financial baselines and track cost actuals in a detailed budget document for submission to ICS TRP PMO and Finance monthly
  • Assist with managing project expenditures against budget as agreed in the project business case and project definition document or approval request
  • Work with the Project Accountable Executive to establish a QPR, MPR and Refinement Forums with detailed terms of reference, action logs and minute outcomes
Business, Governance and Processes
  • Comply with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and practices as defined by internal and external requirements.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines including those governing securities activities, company law, anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions; the Group s policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
  • Embed the Group s Values and Group Code of Conduct to ensure adherence with the highest standards of ethics. Comply with relevant policies, processes and regulations, as part of the culture.
Risk Management
  • Assist with preparing materials for governance meetings as required including Board quality presentations
  • Ensure that issues, risks and interdependencies are identified, managed and resolved and ensure a robust escalation process is in place where PMO, Accountable Executive and attendees within the designated QPR, MPR and Refinement Forums are required to manage mitigating actions
  • Ensure key person risks (BAU and project) are mitigated
  • Assist with managing Project governance through delivery of detailed Work Breakdown Structures, Project Working Groups and Steering Committees Manage tools & information
  • Ensure all Project documents are audit ready at all times
  • Maintain Project Document Repository in SharePoint
  • Understand the project lifecycle and ensure all stages of the lifecycle are managed accordingly
  • Assist the PMO with Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and Benefits Realization Ownership handovers at Project closure Compile lessons learned to contribute to process improvement
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key StakeholdersAssist the PM as required to lead a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Product Engineers, Systems Developers, as well as partner with Product, Operations, Risk, Legal & Compliance and Production Support teams.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years experience in Project Management Office
  • ICS experience preferred
  • Project Management accreditation PMP/ITIL/PRINCE2
