• Be responsible for the entire enterprise data landscape on the full data lifecycle covering business requirements & specifications, functional governance and technical platforms.
• Guide the organization to create value from enterprise data by improving data operations, data quality, as well as the business understanding of the data through data culture & literacy program.
• Provide and support the technologies needed to collect, store, access and propagate the data to ensure they support the enterprises objectives around data usage and governance.
• Be in charge of getting the most from all our data assets to reach better decisions through efficient data architecture, design, delivery and run of the data platforms, as well as programs for the deployment of business applications.
Within Enterprise Data, Data Hub team mission is to:
• Be Responsible for architecture, delivery & run of the Data Hub Platform
• Enable the organization to deal with all type of data (structured / unstructured) with high volume
• Provide a Unified, Actionable 360 View of Alstom Data
• Integrate data from silos, explore, iterate and harmonize data, then serve the data
• Ensure Data Hub platform is utilized in the most efficient way adding value to business
• Define State-Of-The-Art Data Hub Architecture to support Alstom M tiers
• Manage Data Hub Work Packages Delivery
• Maintain Data Hub Platform
Alstom is now looking for a Project Specialist. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES: Ultimately, the duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
• Prepare projects launch
• Manage transition from Architecture to Project teams Delivery
• Coordinate project management activities and resources
• Break projects into work-packages and prepare action plans with defined schedule
• Liaise with various stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
• Help prepare budgets and analyze project related risks
• Oversee project procurement and sourcing activities
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
• Ensure thorough follow-up of critical projects
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to Digital Platform teams
• Work with the Project Managers to eliminate blockers
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Ensure projects are delivered with respect to high quality standards
Required Competencies: Mandatory: 5-7 years of relevant work experience as a Project Lead/ Project Manager or similar role
• Experience in project management, from architecture to delivery, of complex build projects
• Experience of Agile Development
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
• Strong coordination and teamwork skills
• Strong IT background with ability to understand IT architecture and requirements
• Willingness to learn and investigate new technologies
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
• Ability to work in collaboration with other departments (Security, Infrastructure, etc)
• Solution orientated mindset and be pragmatic in execution.
• Experience managing a team and be a collaborative team member
• Ability to prepare and interpret schedules and step-by-step action plans
• Ability to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Fluency in English
Desired:
• PMP / PRINCE/ CSM certification is a plus
• Prior experience on Data Catalog/Data Galaxy/Denodo is a plus
• Experience in Transport Industry is a plus
