Job Description

    QA Automation EngineerRecruitment SpecialistBangaloreNegotiableJob DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a technical, hands-on Test Engineer, your role is to participate in the manual and automation testing of our web-based applications and microservices. You will be under the mentorship of a Test Engineering Manager of a team with an already-established, mature testing process. Your role will be that of a full-stack Test Engineer as someone who has a strong appreciation and skills in manual/ exploratory testing with the capability of writing automated and performance tests.Minimum Requirements:
    • 4+ years of QA Engineering and professional experience as an Automation Engineer working in an agile environment.
    • 2+ years of RESTful services testing experience.
    • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
    • Detailed understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.
    • Proven experience in automating tests using JS, Java, Python and other languages.
    • Validated understanding of different element locator strategies and ability to write custom XPath, CSSPath.
    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON, RDBMS, XML/YAML.
    • Experience with Git, Jira Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Desirable Requirements:
    • Experience with JavaScript-based automation frameworks (examples: WebdriverIO, NightwatchJS, Protractor, etc.).
    • Experience developing and maintaining test scenarios using BDD (Gherkin) Performance and load testing experience (ie. K6).
    • Proficient with writing unit tests.
