Job Description

    QA EngineerThe QA engineer will contribute in testing Disaster recovery and data center automation software. This individual will also be involved in training QA engineers, assisting in release engineering activities, and testing/debugging web applications and APIs.Primary Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:Working closely with developers to test and produce high quality softwareProviding regular feedback on automated test results to QA and DevelopmentDeveloping and executing test plans. Evaluating compatibility of software with existing communications, hardware and softwareResponsible for accurate documentation and communication to facilitate elimination of problems and to create efficient software releasesMandatory Skills and Experience5+ years of experience for Test Planning, execution and reportingExperience of testing software on VMware/Openstack/HyperV platformsExperience testing applications on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of any one database (MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)3+ years of hands on system operations/user experience with Linux and WindowsExperience of testing in domains of infrastructure/data center automation/networking/system integrationDesired skills:3+ years of shell/python/Javascript/Perl scripting experience3+ years of experience with testing tools such as Selenium, NGTestExperience with any test management systemExperience work in agile development teamDesired education:Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
