He is presently heading Flock - a suite of productivity apps, Zeta - a digital payments platform, and Radix - a leading registry for top-level extensions.Role Overview As a QA Manager at Flock you will be responsible for effective assurance of product quality through innovative test methodologies, code inspections, peer reviews, feature testing and other forms of engineering excellence. You will work closely with multiple functions within the engineering and outside engineering, build and manage a best in class team of QA engineers.What is the job like

  • Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans and test strategies
  • Conduct effective test reviews and test documents
  • Build teams to execute functional, performance, security and scalability testing
  • Mentor team to develop specialized testing tools for use in testing our platform
  • Mentor and guide team into a full-fledged white box testing team
  • Mentor a team of 10-12 people
  • Review teams performance for coverage and quality of test suites
  • Participate in test suite design and test reviewsFocus on quality excellence
Who should apply for this role
  • Good understanding of web services and distributed systems Hands on coding experience in Java Script and SQL
  • Good experience in manual and web automation
  • Review test cases
  • Ensure clear documentation of all information and bugs
  • Can understand business requirements and plan the testing needs
  • Manage allocation of resources and guide in the automation effort
  • Proven understanding of gray box and black box testing techniques
  • Knowledge about various debugging tools across web and mobile
  • Hands on experience with various REST API, Web and Mobile application testing tools
  • Excellent debugging skills, measures and analyses code for quality
  • Good communication skills with ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and Business units
  • 9+ yrs experience preferably in product companies with some amount of managerial role experience
