Job Description

    Hi All,We are hiring for one of our client.Position: Quality Engineer (REST API Testing with JIRA)Job Profile: FTE Job Location: Bangalore (Work from Office from Day-1)Total Experience: 6+ Years of relevant experienceNotice Period: Immediate Joiners PreferredSalary Range: Depending on ExperienceShift Timings: As Per Project RequirementsResponsibilities:
    • Primarily responsible for quality testing for large scale eCommerce and Web applications in a fast paced agile and scrum environment and contribute to automation frameworks and tools
    • Develops software quality assurance (SQA) test plans for assigned projects by determining exact testing scope for assigned projects; determining data and environmental requirements; and determining schedule of test deliverables.
    • Responsible for automation of tests as part of requirement and testing phase and integrating them with the scheduling and CI/CD systems
    • Identifies regression tests and enhances regression suites ongoing basis
    • Contribute to test frameworks, test tools, and automation
    Skills Required:
    • Relevant experience as part of QA team ( manual and automation testing)
    • Experience developing automation scripts to maintain stability of automation test data across distributed applications systems using Java, JUnit and TestNG.
    • Experience with Bug tracking Systems like JIRA
    • Experience with CI systems like Jenkins
    • Experience working with databases such as Cassandra , MySQL
    • Familiar with UI Automation(including Selenium-based automation), Backend automation REST web services and/or constructing database queries
