This is a R&D Engineer role reporting to the R&D Product Manager in the Business Area - Process Automation, located in Bangalore, India. You will be contributing with own ideas to identifying, proposing and implementing innovative technology development and solutions.Your responsibilities

• Providing broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the implementation of company software product in pulp and paper industry.
• Working on digital project implementation in pulp and paper industry, analyzing and gathering customer requirements and proposing appropriate solutions for pulp and paper MES/digital projects.
• Working with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects, planning project activities with local and remote teams.
• Working directly on development tasks, providing technical leadership, coordinating with other resources, and creating high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.
• Working with customers to define new opportunities for plant level applications, being proficient or having the capability of becoming proficient at installing, configuring, developing a work-flow process, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
• Planning and making technological training for customer key users or internal team. Preparing clear & concise documents and also providing strategic sales, training, and customer/application support.

• Must be B.E / B.Tech / /MCA with 60% and above marks.
• Must have an overall experience of 5+ years.
• Knowledge of MES applications for process industry, experience in pulp & paper industry Information System (IS) a plus, knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA, hands on web application development experience using C#, ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, MVC REST API, Angular/React, Node Js, HTML, Ajax, JQuery, Java script, CSS, Bootstrap. Experience of relational database Oracle / SQL Server, time series database.
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns, hands on experience in Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in service oriented and distributed application architectures including relational databases, document (no-sql) databases, messaging, REST APIs, micro services architecture, workflow orchestration. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Event hub, GitHub/TFS.
• Must be well organized able to work independently or as part of a team constructively with minimal supervision, robust to work within a high-pressure automotive environment, have a positive, proactive attitude, an engaging mind, open to new problems outside your normal comfort zone, willingness to engage in debate and discussion, have empathy, willingness to listen and see others points of view.
• Must have natural leadership skills ability to lead others to get the most out of the team, be ambitious and self-reliant - intrinsically self-motivated. Experience in working with client stakeholders, business representatives and technical people, and be able to adapt their style accordingly, ability to present complex ideas in a convincing and understandable manner and have fluency in English (written and verbal).
