Team Description: The Data Engineer would work with a highly efficient team of data scientists and data engineers. The team works towards the goal of unlocking engineering value in the data collected from several sources (ex. Connected Fleets, Development Labs, Test Benches etc ) in the automotive chassis control and safety domain.Role of Data Engineer: Big Data Engineering, ETL Development (Extract, Transform, Load) for Hadoop Clusters, Big Data Processing and AnalysisIT and programming skills required:- Maven (basic knowledge, required) - Git (basic knowledge) - REST-API (Swagger) & ODBC/JDBC (basic knowledge) - JSON, XML (basic knowledge) - Unix/Linux (advanced knowledge, required) - High Performance Computing (HPC), cluster architectures, state-of-the-art cluster systems (advanced knowledge, required) - C++ & Python (advanced knowledge, required) - SQL (advanced knowledge, required) - Software & algorithm development (advanced knowledge to high expertise, required) - Java, incl. object-oriented programming and design patterns (advanced knowledge to high expertise, required) - Hadoop clusters & Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Hive, Impala, Oozie, MapReduce, Yarn, Hue, Kafka) (basic to advanced knowledge) - Kubernetes (K8s),
